About Us

Pastor Doug Moorman and his family came to Hampshire View Baptist Church in March of 1992. He faithfully served as Youth and Music Pastor under his father, Rev. Glenn Moorman for twenty-two years.

In 2014, Pastor Glenn retired and Pastor Doug became the interim pastor. On December 13, the church voted to call Pastor Doug Moorman as the new Senior Pastor of HVBC.

It is a Pastor's vision to have a Great Commission church. He chose  for church the motto, 'to know Christ and to make Him known'. Since becoming pastor, he has led the church to begin various outreach including the Good News Club after school program at Sherwood Elementary, and a thriving Hispanic ministry.

In 2018, Pastor led the church to hire much needed additional staff for the Hispanic and Youth ministries.

His vision for the future include community partnerships with public schools, police and fire departments, homeless shelters, and crisis pregnancy centers.  He also has a vision to build additional space to facilitate the future growth of children, youth and Hispanic Ministries.

 Operations

HVBC Operations include HVBC elected officers, hired staff, and volunteers who keep the operations of HVBC going on a daily basis, 365 days a year.  These are the folks who work behind the scenes to ensure HVBC is compliant with Federal, State, and local Government regulations; who manage and document HVBC administration, membership, and activities; who pay the bills and the staff and manage HVBC finances; who manage the HVBC facilities, IT, transportation, and equipment; and who manage the HVBC meetings, ministries, committees, and outreach.

  • HVBC SENIOR PASTOR

    In accordance with HVBC By-Laws, section 08 (A), the HVBC Senior Pastor is elected by a 75% vote of the total votes cast by HVBC active members .  Our current elected HVBC Senior Pastor is called upon to serve in accordance with our HVBC By-Laws, section 03 (A).  You may contact our Senior Pastor at Pastor@ihvbc.org.

    HVBC DEACONS

    In accordance with HVBC By-Laws, section 08 (B), HVBC Deacons are elected by a majority vote of the total votes cast by HVBC active members .  Our current elected HVBC Deacons make up our HVBC Board of Deacons and are called upon to serve in accordance with our HVBC By-Laws, section 03 (D).  You may contact our Deacons at Deacons@ihvbc.org.  

    HVBC TREASURER

    In accordance with HVBC By-Laws, section 08 (D), our HVBC Treasurer is elected by a majority vote of the total votes cast by HVBC active members .  Our current elected HVBC Treasurer is called upon to serve in accordance with our HVBC By-Laws, section 03 (C).  You may contact our Treasurer at Treasurer@ihvbc.org.  

    HVBC TRUSTEES

    In accordance with HVBC By-Laws, section 08 (C), HVBC Trustees are elected by a majority vote of the total votes cast by HVBC active members .  All current elected HVBC Trustees make up our HVBC Board of Trustees and are called upon to serve in accordance with our HVBC By-Laws, section 03 (E).  You may contact our Trustees at Trustees@ihvbc.org.

  • HVBC HISPANIC PASTOR

    In accordance with HVBC By-Laws, section 04 (A), the HVBC Hispanic Pastor is recommended for employment by the HVBC Senior Pastor.  Our current HVBC Hispanic Pastor is called upon to serve in accordance with our HVBC By-Laws, section 04 (C) and section 09 (A).  You may contact our Hispanic Pastor at IBHV-Pastor@ihvbc.org.  Read here for more info on Iglesia Bautista Hampshire View.

    HVBC EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

    In accordance with HVBC By-Laws, section 04 (A), the HVBC Executive Assistant is recommended for employment by the HVBC Senior Pastor.  Our current HVBC Executive Assistant is called upon to serve in accordance with our HVBC By-Laws, section 04 (D).  You may contact our Executive Assistant at Executive-Assistant@ihvbc.org to schedule a  meeting with our Senior Pastor, to use our HVBC facilities for a meeting or event, or to request more information about our church.

  • HVBC MUSIC

    Our Music Team consists of Adults and Teens who serve the Lord with their musical talents. Our Music Director works with the Senior Pastor to manage the Sunday Service schedule.  You may contact our Music Director at Music@ihvbc.org.

    HVBC INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY TRIBE

    Our IT Tribe consists of Adults and Teens who serve the Lord with their Technical Talents. Our mission is to provide Hampshire View Baptist Church with an online presence so we can reach more people who will come to know Christ and to make him known.  You may contact our IT-Tribe at it-tribe@ihvbc.org.

    Our IT Tribe duties include administration of all HVBC Websites, HVBC App, HVBC Domains, HVBC Social Media Sites (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Google, & Twitter), Software, and IT Tools (eGiving, Constant Contact, Zoom, QR Code, Ekklessia, e360, Adobe, & G-Suite).   Also maintenance of IT Equipment (laptops, monitors, cameras, and  input devices).  For more info on what we do or to request IT services, find more info at IT Tribe....

     

    HVBC SOUNDBOOTH
