Our kick off date for our Good News Club at Sherwood Elementary is right around the corner-October 3rd, here is the latest and greatest from your GNC club team!
1. Volunteers - We are in need of 3 more adult volunteers. If you are interested please contact us thru hvbcsite.org.
- You will be given a paper packet that will need to be completed and mailed into CEF.
2. Training-Below are a few training dates-none are mandatory in order to volunteer
- Saturday September 16th-CEF-Childrens Ministry Conference (this is NOT mandatory to attend if you would like to volunteer).
- Arlington Baptist Church-3030 N.Rolling Road Windsor Mill, MD 21244
- 8:30am-4pm
- $35 per person

- Thursday September 21st-Montgomery County curriculum training
- Layhill Church-1900 Bonifant Road Silver Spring, MD
- 7PM-9:15PM
- Sunday September 24th-Hampshire View Baptist
- 1-3pm
- Lunch will be provided
- Follow up planning for our school
- Table Bag Assembling
- Tuesday October 3rd-First Day of Club at Sherwood Elementary
- 4pm-5:15pm
3. Club Supplies-Donations can be dropped off at the church or given to Allie Altobelli.
