What Is AWANA?

Awana stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed"!  Each week, more than 2.8 million kids take part in Awana through more than 38,000 churches in 113 countries.  Hampshire View Baptist Church (HVBC)  has had partnered with  AWANA for more than 25 years!

Our key verse in AWANA is II Timothy 2:15, Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Our mission in our AWANA Clubs is, “To teach boys & girls the gospel of Christ and train them to love and serve Him.”  We work each club night to fulfill our mission.

We minister to different age groups:

• Cubbies:  3 years old to 5 years old (Pre-Kindergarten)
• Sparks - (Kindergarten, Grade 1 & 2)
• Truth & Training (T&T) - (Grades 3rd, 4th , 5th &, 6th)

AWANA Meetings are in person at the Church.  We meet Wednesday nights from 7:00pm – 8:30pm, September – May.
